As an Assistant Manager of Accounts, you will be responsible for completing routine clerical and accounting tasks. You should also take care of preparing budgets, maintaining reports, and completing basic bookkeeping and accounting duties for the company.

B.Com/M.Com (Accounting)

Job Responsibilities

Core accounting activities such as:

  • Expense entries and day-to-day accounting
  • Filing and documentation
  • Petty cash management
  • Preparation of journal bills
  • Bank entries
  • Cash entries
  • BRS and cash verification
  • Monthly budget preparation

Banking related activities such as:

  • Reconciliation
  • Cash disbursement/transfers
  • Discussions with bank regarding FD renewal/ other services
  • Interacting with staff for details/ bills/ vouchers or other information.

Compliance and TDS activities such as:

  • Ensure Statutory Compliance
  • Computing and filing of TDS, PF, ESI
  • Advance tax working
  • Monitor timely deposit of taxes like TDS and statutory returns within the prescribed time and provide information to the statutory auditor.
  • Payroll and salary operations
  • Assisting employees with their tax filings
  • Ensuring accurate documentation
  • Handling audit queries and filing annual reports
  • Ensuring compliance with accounting and labour laws


  • Computer literacy, particularly with Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word
  • Proficiency in Tally accounting software
  • Good communication skills
  • Organised functioning and methodical approach
